Started skydiving in 1985, became the first woman to skydive off Angel Falls,
the tallest waterfall in the world (3212feet), now have more jumps off it
than any other woman (9 jumps and going back next year). First and only woman
to jump off Autana, (one of only 5 people to ever jump from this very remote
mountain in Venezuela.
I started skydiving after the death of my husband. I needed something to
focus all my attention on, kind of a grief therapy. I soon became addicted,
and went hard core. I feel very lucky to now make my living as something I
have such passion for. I truly believe it's not because things are difficult
that we don't dare; it's because we do not dare that they are difficult.
